Village Square is located on the corner of Main Reef Road and 8^th Street in Randfontein, and is a community shopping mall serving lower to medium LSM clientele living in the greater Randfontein area. Located on the property is a large taxi facility that provides easy and convenient access to patrons not only of Village Square, but also to the numerous stores (mostly national retailers) located on Main Reef Road.

This development is an enclosed mall development with central courts and roof lights over these courts. The centre is surrounded by parking which will change the character of the town in as much that the traditional strip development has now been upgraded to a proper centralized shopping mall.
